Rena, a "hopeful consumptive" taken charge of by North Adams authorities, died December 17, 1930. Catherine Pepper was at East Family from April 25, 1895. Appointed elder sister there on May 2, 1897.

    Black and white. There are wrought iron railings of another building in the foreground; through them we see three chimineys. It looks like there is a basement which is built into a hill so is accessible on one side. Based on the windows there may be an attic and three main floors.

    Black and white. This barn may be built into the side of a hill. There is a large double-door with a ladder leaning against it. A little roof is over this door; it is supported by four cables. It seems that the ground slopes down so that the other side of this building has another level under this one. There is a cupola with a weather vane pointing SE.

    Black and white. A road backed by a railing is in the foreground of this image. It seems that the ground slopes down behind this railing. There is a stone-sided barn in the background. The second level may have an entrance from the road, but that is out of the photograph. There is a cupola on the roof; some of the window panes are broken. The weather vane is pointing NW. There is a dark leaf pattern in the top right corner of the image.

The lifting latch is on the left and there may be a lock on the right. The doors appear to be light colored. This is a different door than 2010-7608.
