A- Large oval box with lid. Probably used as a bonnet box. 5 fingers lap jointed to the right and secured with copper nails. Bottom of box is pine and side are maple. Bottom and sides stained yellow ochre. Inside is natural wood. Top section of box where the cover fits over still retains the natural color stain. Oval-shaped paper label attached to bottom with the number "24" on it. Bottom of box has several scratches and gouges. B- Lid to large oval box. Pine top and maple rim. Stained yellow ochre. One finger pointing to the right - lap jointed.
