A- Oval box with pine bottom and maple sides. Natural wood inside; outside painted green. The green paint has been chipped and spread very thin in some places on the sides of the box. Box has 3 fingers lap jointed to the right and secured with copper nails which have also been painted over green. Bottom of the box has been stained darker brown and is marred and scratched in several places. White adhesive paper label attached to bottom with number "67".
B- Lid to oval box. Pine top and maple rim. Outside is stained green. Rim has 1 finger lap jointed to the right and secured with copper nails, which have also been painted over green. Inside of box is natural wood. Written in pencil in center of the inside of the lid of the box "Eliza Haynes."
