Object Name Bench, School
Description Wooden bench; relatively simple construction; designed for use in school; no arms; stained a reddish brown in color; seat is one long rectangular piece of board; perpendicular underneath the seat in a little way from the end are two rectangular boards, stained a reddish brown, that form the legs and feet of this particular school bench; there is an arc-shape cut out of the bottom of each of these pieces; this makes the board form two legs on each board; round button shaped silver discs on each of the feet to prevent wear on the floor; one long rectangular slat forms the back of the bench; this is secured by a wooden brace which extends up through the back of the bench and down almost to the bottom of the feet; additional vertical brace extends the length of the underside of the bench seat
