King (1873-1966), sitting in rocking chair in front of built-in drawers and cupboard (at the Church Family, Hancock Trustees Office), wearing flower print dress with shoulder cape, net bonnet and black high lace shoes. She was Canterbury 2nd eldress (1913), 1st eldress (1918- until her death) and Central Ministry Eldress (1946-1966). She was instrumental in selling Hancock, MA to Amy Bess Miller in 1959-1960. |
